2. How We Use Information

We use your data to:

3. Marketing Communications

With your consent, we use your name, phone number, and email to send you marketing and promotional messages about Tossit's own services. These may be delivered by SMS, push notification, email, and WhatsApp. We do not share your details with third parties for their own marketing.

You can opt out of marketing communications at any time — by using the unsubscribe option in the message, adjusting your notification settings, replying to opt out where supported, or contacting us at the address in Section 12. Opting out of marketing does not affect service-related messages you need to receive to use Tossit (such as booking confirmations).

4. Payments

Payments are processed by our third-party payment provider, Cashfree. Your card, UPI, bank, or wallet details are entered on and handled by Cashfree, and Tossit does not store your full card or bank account numbers on its own systems. Cashfree processes this information under its own privacy policy. We receive limited confirmation details (such as whether a payment succeeded) to complete your booking.

5. Third-Party Services

We use trusted third-party services to operate and improve the app:

• •Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google): to deliver push notifications. We do not use Firebase Analytics.
• •Firebase Crashlytics (Google) and Sentry: for crash reporting and error diagnostics, to help us find and fix problems. This may involve collecting crash and diagnostic information.
• •Cashfree: to process payments, as described in Section 4.

These providers process data on our behalf or under their own privacy and security terms.

6. Data Sharing

We may share limited information with:

• •Assigned cooks (name, address, and booking details needed to fulfil your booking)
• •Cashfree (to process payments)
• •Service providers that support our technology and app performance

We do not sell your personal data.

7. Data Security

All user data is encrypted in transit. We implement reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as necessary to provide our services and to comply with legal obligations. When data is no longer required, we delete or anonymise it.

9. Your Rights

You may request:

10. Children's Privacy

Tossit is not directed to children under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will delete it.

11. Updates to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. Continued use of Tossit after an update means you accept the updated policy.
